My phone was scheduled to be delivered TODAY, but apple contacted UPS and told them to hold the package for a future delivery date.
I was really excited to get it today! Guess I’ll have to wait until what I presume is Friday when the iPhone is actually unveiled to the public.

Late last year MS announced it would release a FREE Antivirus program that would compete with the low end virus programs from leading competitors.
A Microsoft spokesman said on Wednesday that the world’s biggest software maker is testing an early version of the product with its own employees. Microsoft would “soon” make a trial version, or product beta, available via its website, he added, but declined to provide a specific date.
NOTE: It isn’t uncommon for early software releases to have a trial period. This isn’t always to force you into purchasing the program, but it does ensure that you get the latest version of the software as it is released.
The rumors have confirmed! The new iPhone will be released on June 19th.
Thankfully, I was one of the consumers that was eligable for the discounted upgrade and I’ve already placed the order for my 3GS 32gig white version.
However… It frustrates me to know that with the partnership AT&T has with Apple and yet my phone will have the ABILITY to MMS, my cell phone provider WILL NOT.

If you have a solid Anvirus Program on your computer, but just want to double check your download(s), swing over to VirusTotal.com. It checks your file against 40 updated virus programs and gives you the results.
For easier scanning, you can email (or forward an email) the file to them or download a patch which puts a link in the Send To menu (which is what I do).
